Fun for all ages!

The Eagle River Watershed Council invites you to join us for a Casting Lessonfree fly casting clinic on June 30, 2010. Members of Eagle Valley Trout Unlimited will teach us the skills needed to enjoy a great fishing season on the river. Additionally, Ken Neubecker will present a brief lesson on stream ecology. Following the lesson, Aquatic Biologist Kendall Ross Bakich of the Colorado Division of Wildlife will speak about the threat of invasive species in our water systems. We will provide free gear cleaning to help you protect our ecosystems from these species. Meet us by the river near the Brush Creek Pavilion in Eagle at 5pm for refreshments. The clinic will start at 5:30pm.

Trout Unlimited is a national organization dedicated to the protection, conservation, and restoration of watersheds to provide healthy environments for fish. The Eagle Valley Trout Unlimited chapter has worked with the Colorado Division of Wildlife, the Eagle River Watershed Council, and other conservation groups to achieve this goal.
