Did you know golf courses are some of the most efficient users of water in the valley? Several of your favorite local Golf Course Superintendents will present the impact golf course management has on the environment in our Valley. Topics you may never have thought about as you teed up your ball will be discussed, such as water conservation, water quality, technology trends, cultural practices and environmental stewardship.

If you like to fish the Eagle River, raft the river, walk the riverbanks or just want to know the river flowing through this valley is in good shape, come to the Eagle River Watershed Council’s Water Wise Wednesday on March 25, at 5:00 pm (refreshments) or 5:30 pm (presentation) at the Avon Public Library to find out what is causing these troubled waters.
